Motivation Tips and Tricks!
- Set yourself short term goals. Looking at the big picture is demotivating. How am I going to get a Victoria Secret model bod in 6 months? Give yourself time! Start with basic goals, such as completing 10 minutes of cardio overtime you go to the gym. If you find yourself achieving these goals consistently, make them harder! Increase your reps! Looking at the end goal can be overwhelming and demotivating.
- Get a bomb playlist going on your iPod. You need those fast past loud songs to keep you going. Enough of Ed Sheeran or Adele!
- Go with a pal. Introduce a friend or find a gym buddy! Have a chat, gossip session and most importantly keep each other going!
- Take before and after photos. I know it might be cringe taking a cheeky bod photo now and then but it is honestly the best way to track your body changes. Take one every week! Plus, it's a little motivator when you start to compare your pre workout with your current photos.
- I don't know what can be more motivating than seeing your monthly membership come out of your bank! You are spending your money, invest it well and make the most out of it!
